Hello, welcome to Blog number W123, this issue we have news of our workshop open night, info on cars for sale and cars for dismantling as well as some interesting links to keep you occupied. Sorry about the late notice of the workshop open night. As usual we are still soooo busy with parts orders that the time has got away from us.

M.B Spares workshop night…

It is that time of the year gain. Each November we host the Mercedes-Benz club of the ACT for there monthly meeting at our premises. Over the years this has become a favourite for many of the club members with a BBQ dinner up first and then a tour of our premises and a talk by our staff.

Over the years we have had some great nights, in 2007 Murray showed us how to assemble a rotary engine (pictures here), we had a model car night and in 2006 we gave everyone a chance to ride in an 300d Adenauer (see pictures to the right).

This years event is next Tuesday the 9^th starting at 6.00pm with a sausage sizzle and drinks. All of our customers are welcome to attend and enjoy the evening. No RSVP required, just turn up. Anyone with any special dietary needs let us know and we will cater for you.

Car sales.

Car sales have been rather interesting of late. How many of you noticed this listing on our website?? We had it listed a week before the official launch in Australia and sold soon afterwards. We have had a heap of cars come and go many before they were even advertised. Two recent sales were this classic 170S and this stunning low mileage E320.

However by far the most exciting sale we have had in the last few months was this very special car.

The only car that I have parked out the front at the moment is this E240! We have some more coming soon including a W202 C200 and W203 C180 Kompressor.

Cars for dismantling:

Lately we have had a rather constant supply of later models cars coming in for dismantling, see below for a list. One very notable one was this A class, an amazing demonstration of the passenger safety cell. Note how the steering wheel and column had move up and the engine has gone under the car. No idea what it hit, but it must have been at some speed!!
